This white blend is made from Chardonnay Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc grapes. The Luigi Bosca winery showcases the art of blending with this wine. The way the varietals are combined is unique, and each is given the opportunity to enhance the other, resulting in a beautiful white wine.
Hand-harvested for Luigi Bosca De Sangre White Blend
In 1890, Leoncio Arizu arrived in Argentina seeking new opportunities, and in 1901, he established a winery in the province of Mendoza. It was then that he and the Boscas, another old and prosperous family who had emigrated from the Piamonte region of Italy, decided to join forces and establish what is now Bodega Luigi Bosca – Arizu family. They own a total of 618 vineyards in Lujan de Cuyo and the surrounding area, a region with high altitudes that optimally enjoys abundant sunshine and cool nights.
The grapes are harvested individually, entirely by hand, and transported to the winery in 18- to 20-kilo crates. Once there, the grapes undergo rigorous bunch selection and full-cluster pressing. The grape juice is then decanted for 25 hours at 8°C. Only a portion of the juice undergoes fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 16°C. The remainder is fermented in French oak barrels. After nine months of aging, the blending takes place, the wine is filtered, and finally, bottled. But patience is still required, as the wine matures in the bottle for another four months in the cellar.

The result is a yellowish wine with golden and green highlights. The aroma is expressive and above all deliciously fruity, with notes of flowers and white fruit reminiscent of peach, green apple, and orange. On the palate, this White Blend is smooth, refined, and elegant, with a lingering finish.
