A Sauvignon Blanc to truly savor. That's what this white wine from Luigi Bosca represents. The winery uses only the finest vines from the best regions of Mendoza. The grapes are harvested only at the optimal time, ensuring that no qualities are lost. The result is, among other things, this soft, fruity wine.
Perfect conditions for Sauvignon Blanc
Luigi Bosca Winery was founded in 1901 by Leoncio Arizu, making it Argentina's oldest family-owned winery. Its vineyards are located in the promising region of Mendoza, and the company utilizes extensive innovation to achieve the highest quality. Today, the third and fourth generations of the Arizu family are at the helm. They have mastered the desert climate and terroir to create beautiful wines. Thanks to these conditions, the wines develop extra aromas and color, and the acidity is always beautifully balanced.
The Sauvignon Blanc grapes come from Luigi Bosca's own vineyards in Maipa and Valle de Uco, Mendoza. The vines are on average 20 years old and are planted at an altitude of 780 meters, ideal for ripening the grapes. The grapes are harvested entirely by hand at two different levels of ripeness. After harvesting, the grapes are selected and destemmed. The must is decanted into tanks for 24 hours and fermented in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 16 degrees Celsius. After alcoholic fermentation is complete, the wine rests on the fine lees for another six months.
