At Lunaria, the focus is on expressing the terroir. To achieve this, production is kept limited, partly through short pruning and partly by limiting the number of grape bunches per vine. This prevents the vine from becoming exhausted and ultimately results in maximum expression of fruit and terroir in the wine. The Malvasia grapes are planted at an altitude of approximately 450 meters above sea level in chalky soil. Thanks to the excellent climate, they have ample time to ripen perfectly and develop their unique characteristics.
 Accessible wines from Lunaria

The Lunaria winery operates not only organically but also biodynamically. They choose to use biodynamic agriculture, a method of constantly exploring innovative working methods and techniques. This involves strict regulations and high quality standards. The winery is part of the Cantina Orsogna cooperative, which has over 600 partners in Abruzzo. All wines produced come from this area, located 15 kilometers from the Adriatic coast. The vineyards are located near the second highest mountain in the Apennines, the Majello, at an altitude of between 300 and 450 meters. Thanks to this location, the grapes benefit from significant temperature variations between day and night. Everything is geared towards high quality. Thanks to the knowledge and passion of the Lunaria winemakers, they create beautiful, easily accessible wines.
The full and creamy taste of LaBelle Malvasia

After harvest and selection, a short cold maceration and a gentle pressing follow. The must ferments in a stainless steel container at a temperature of 12 to 14 degrees Celsius for 30 days with its own indigenous yeasts. The wine then matures in stainless steel tanks for four months. Afterward, the wine is filtered and bottled. The LaBelle has a straw-yellow color in the glass. The aromas are powerful with hints of grapes, tropical fruit, and flowers. On the palate, it is fresh and soft, juicy, and full-bodied. A creamy, thick flavor without being overpowering, yet with fresh acidity and a hint of bitterness.
