Luquet Crémant de Bourgogne
Domaine Luquet, founded in 1878, is renowned for its pure Chardonnay wines from the Mâconnais region. This Crémant de Bourgogne is the sparkling calling card of the estate. With grapes from its own vineyards and refined vinification using the traditional method, Luquet proves that quality is not limited to Champagne.
Vineyards and region
The grapes for this crémant come from the chalky soils of the estate's vineyards in the Mâconnais region. The location of the plots and the manual harvest ensure optimal freshness and aromas. Thanks to the cool climate and the limestone-rich terroir, the wine retains its lively acidity and fine structure.
Vinification and maturation
Luquet uses the traditional method, as is the case with Champagne. After primary fermentation, the wine undergoes a secondary fermentation in the bottle, followed by nine months of aging. This period on the lees gives the wine its fine mousse, subtle toast, and elegant finish. Everything is carried out in-house, from pressing to disgorgement.

Tasting notes and serving suggestions
The wine is light golden yellow in color and opens on the nose with fresh notes of citrus, white fruit, and subtle toast. On the palate, it is smooth and refined, with a creamy mousse and a long, elegant finish. Perfect as an aperitif, with oysters, or refined fish dishes. Serve at 8°C for optimal expression.
