This beautiful white wine is like a polished white diamond. It comes from Domaine Brédif, a stylish estate located in Vouvray, in the Loire Valley. This exceptional property dates back to 1893, when the Brédif family began producing wine. An unprecedented, classy wine from a limited edition. This powerful white wine is an exclusive jewel of the Loire Valley. It is made from the Chenin Blanc grape, a quintessential French grape that is worth savoring.
The most famous winery in the Loire
This magnificent estate is one of the Loire Valley's most renowned wineries. Despite its size, quality is paramount to the owners, as anyone who tastes and enjoys the wines can see and appreciate. The estate has a long and colorful history, having been founded in 1893 under its original name, Château Les Roches. In 1919, Marc Bredif took over from his uncle and renamed the property. His focus was simple: to forge an unparalleled reputation for excellence among the Loire Valley estates. His hard work paid off, and the estate's reputation grew rapidly, both domestically and internationally. This was largely built on the fame of its sparkling Vouvray, considered one of the region's finest. Since 1980, the estate has been owned by the renowned Baron Patrick de Ladoucette, owner of the world-famous Château de La Doucette. The grapes grow on the lower slopes of the Loire Valley in the sunny orchards of Vouvray. The soil is primarily calcareous, and the vines are approximately 25 to 35 years old. The grapes are harvested entirely by hand. This is followed by a rigorous selection and fermentation in steel tanks at a temperature of 18 degrees Celsius. The wine then rests on the lees before being filtered and bottled. The smell and taste of Marc Bredif Vouvray Vigne Blanche
This beautiful white Vouvray boasts a vibrant golden yellow color and is a generous and exquisite example of terroir expression: a complex interplay of minerals, flint, candied citrus, and honey. Ripe acidity gives the wine a lovely freshness. The palate is captivatingly complex and beautifully ripe; the soft acidity is well balanced with ripe white fruit; it has plenty of length.Product details
