Every wine connoisseur recognizes the quality of Marsuret, as this beautiful family winery has been in the Marsura family's hands since 1936. It was grandfather Agostino Marsura who, with a deep love for Italian sparkling wines, founded this winery in Guia. Over the years, some aspects of Marsuret have remained unchanged, and this contributes to its grandeur. Currently, the third generation of the family is at the helm, and his name is Ermes Marsura. He has been tending the old vineyards for years, allowing the family traditions to shine. But it was also Ermes who introduced many modern techniques, which has contributed to international fame. Marsuret Prosecco has received numerous awards for its Prosecco.

The harvest in the Treviso vineyard

Nestled in the mountains of Valdobbiadene lies the beautiful vineyard known as Treviso. It's perfectly planted, allowing the sun to shine freely, and the abundant cooling gives the Glera grapes great vigor. This cooling is crucial because it allows the grapes to retain their natural freshness, a characteristic that is clearly evident in this Marsuret Prosecco Treviso Brut. It's simply a bit fresher and more minerally than its siblings, earning it the nickname "Marsuret Champagne." The grapes are harvested by hand, quite early in the morning when the risk of oxidation is lowest. This Prosecco Marsuret is made using the Charmat method, a technique that adds great depth to this prosecco. The prosecco is fermented using a closed system, creating beautiful, fine bubbles.

Full and very powerful this Marsuret Prosecco Treviso

Marsuret's flagship prosecco, this Treviso, is beautifully crisp and dry! But not unpleasant, you'll taste its beautiful, pure flavor! This Brut Treviso is made from grapes grown in the heart of the Prosecco region. This is where the best grapes are sourced and also nourish this Marsuret Prosecco Treviso. The aroma reveals a very clean note of green apple, minerals, citrus, and a hint of lemongrass. On the palate, we discovered a very refined mousse (bubbles). Beautiful flavors of toast, minerals, gooseberry, and a hint of lemon! A fantastic glass of Prosecco that pairs beautifully with shellfish and seafood.
