The Process: From Grape to Wine

At peak ripeness, the bunches are carefully harvested, starting at dawn to ensure the quality of the grapes. Once in the winery, winemaker Filippo Baccalaro personally ensures the quality of each crate. After a gentle pressing, the dark red juice is aged for months in the Masseria Pietrosa cellars, developing its distinctive flavor and aromas.

This wine enchants with its deep ruby ​​red color and purple hues. Aromas of red and black fruit, spices, and thyme emerge on the nose. On the palate, it presents itself as velvety, full-bodied, and slightly creamy. Fruity notes dominate the palate, while the finish is sultry and juicy.
