These old vineyards have deep roots, making them well-suited to the warm afternoons of the south of France. The natural hillsides provide the bunches with a refreshing breeze, as the wind from the sea blows easily through the vineyards. This eliminates the need for assistance during the growing season, ensuring the grapes ripen evenly. Once the harvest reaches the desired ripeness of Marnix Engels, they are harvested manually in the morning to prevent damage to the bunches and prevent oxidation. Upon arrival, the grapes are placed in a state-of-the-art machine that inspects each grape. Only the finest grapes are used, and this is evident in this MED Mediterranee Rosé. This modern technique is typically used only by the most prestigious names in Bordeaux. It is expensive, but it results in a wine that is highly popular.
