The Andica Gran Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon is produced with the intention of honoring the expression and biodiversity of the land where Miquel Torres arrived 40 years ago. This 100% organic wine is vinified with great respect for nature. The grapes are cultivated with great care, and this is reflected in this classic bottled wine. Balanced and pleasantly fresh.
The success of Torres Chile
In 1979, Miguel Torres Chili arrived in the Curico Valley. At the time, he was looking for a new location to plant new vines. This proved to be the perfect spot. Over the years, the winery has worked hard to revitalize traditional grape varieties that had almost been forgotten, such as Pais, Carignan, and Muscat. And with success. The Torres Chili winery offers a wide range of top-quality wines.
The grapes are carefully harvested when they reach optimal ripeness. After harvest, they are taken almost immediately to the winery for a 16-day cold maceration. Alcoholic fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks with indigenous yeasts. Once this is complete, malolactic fermentation follows, lasting approximately six days. Finally, 70 percent of the wine is aged for eight months in French oak barrels. Once this is complete, the wine is blended and bottled.
