What to eat a large bottle of Champagne
The aging of a 9-liter bottle of Salmanazar is much better than in a standard bottle due to its size. In this 9-liter bottle, the Champagne has the optimal space and time to develop into a perfect Champagne. This Moët & Chandon 9-Liter case is certainly a perfect Champagne! Just uncorking this large bottle is a true celebration. Upon pouring, we immediately see the straw-yellow color with a golden shimmer. This shimmer is caused by the fine mousse that dances through the glass. On the nose, we encountered a broad and pleasant bouquet of citrus, apple, pear, and freshly baked bread. The fine mousse gives this Brut Imperial a pleasant and soft mouthfeel. The flavor offers rich nuances of white fruit, nicely balanced by a subtle hint of citrus. The finish is wonderfully refreshing and, thanks to the large 9-liter Salmanazar bottle, a true celebration!
