After enjoying the excellent Montgras Quatro Red for years, it was time for a Montgras Quatro White. The winemakers spent several years working on it: the white Montgras Quatro must be just as impressive as the Montgras Quatro Red. The process was intensive and lengthy. Ultimately, the craftsmen at Montgras have done an excellent job with this Montgras Quatro White. A special and unique white wine that serves as a great showcase for Chilean wines.
The wines of Montgras
Unlike the red version, the white Montgras Quatro features a selection of original grape varieties. We all know Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay from Chilean vineyards. Semillon is also still somewhat popular in the vineyards. Montgras decided to take a different approach: completely different grape vines were grafted onto the vineyards in Colchagua. These grape varieties hark back to the early Spanish winemaking tradition – the very origins of Chilean wines. As a result, the experts at Montgras selected the refreshing Verdejo, the floral Viognier, the fruity Vermentino, and the refined Albarino.

Just like the red Montgras Quatro, the blend changes annually. The focus is on finding the most beautiful combination. The label also plays a significant role in this. Each grape is represented by a specific color. The more the grape contributes to Montgras Quatro White, the more often that color appears on the label. Because the vineyards are planted relatively close to the ocean, Montgras Quatro White is wonderfully refreshing. Think freshly picked Granny Smith apples, invigorating grapefruit, and also hints of pineapple and peach. The finish, infused with green herbs and blossoms, is guaranteed to bring a smile to your face.
