Description

This delicious Morando Chardonnay is often served in restaurants and bars! And for good reason, because this Morando Chardonnay is truly delicious! The Campagnola winery knows better than anyone how to handle the Chardonnay grape and how to best express its fruit in the bottle. Enjoy this tempting Chardonnay!

The most beautiful grapes for Morando wines

The Campagnola winery was founded in 1886 by Carlo Campagnola. The cellars, now owned by the family for four generations, are located in Valgatara. In addition to their own vineyards, the family business also has numerous long-term contracts with winegrowers from Soave, Bardolino, Valpolicella, and Gambellara, as well as farmers from the province of Apulia. Thanks to these contracts, the winery is guaranteed the finest, highest-quality grapes for its Morando wines. Campagnola expanded significantly in the 1970s when it added new expressions of northeastern Italian wines to its portfolio. In the 1990s, the focus shifted to producing high-quality Valpolicella wines, and today the company cultivates and partners with winemakers approximately 80 hectares of vineyards in this region, along with 30 hectares in Bardolino, 25 hectares in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, and 20 hectares in Soave.

The versatility of the Chardonnay

The white Chardonnay grape is very well-suited for vinification and aging in oak. It's no coincidence that Campagnola chose this variety. Moreover, this grape variety can withstand both cold and heat. Chardonnay produces robust, full-bodied wines with character and a delicate bouquet. It works exceptionally well in a wide variety of wines. This is certainly the case with this Mornado. This straw-yellow Chardonnay has a seductive, exotic aroma with notes of apple and a hint of citrus. The palate reveals lively acidity and bitterness. It's light and appealing, fresh and dry. All in all, a wonderfully approachable Chardonnay that pairs perfectly with salads, mussels, grilled fish, and white meat.
