Long-term wood aging for Napa Cut Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley
The grapes for Napa Cut Cabernet Sauvignon are carefully selected from two of Napa Valley's finest vineyards. One is located in the heart of St. Helena, while the other is situated on the eastern side of Howell Mountain. These strategic locations contribute to the complex flavor structure of Napa Cut Cabernet Sauvignon. Here, bathed in the warm sun and cooling breezes of the Pacific Ocean, the Cabernet Sauvignon grapes thrive in the fertile, well-drained soils, resulting in grapes of exceptional quality.
The grapes are carefully harvested and taken directly to the winery. Here, they are meticulously destemmed and crushed. This is followed by a slow, controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks. During this process, the color, aromas, and flavors of the grapes are carefully extracted, resulting in a wine with a deep, concentrated flavor and complex character. After fermentation, the wine is transferred to oak barrels for aging and maturation for 12 months. Here, the Napa Cut Cabernet Sauvignon is given the opportunity to further develop its structure and aromas, while the oak adds a subtle vanilla note and extra depth to the wine.
