Nodus Chardonnay Ecologico DO Utiel‑Requena

Nodus Chardonnay Ecologico is an organic, oak-aged white wine from Valencia with international appeal. Fermented in new oak barriques, the wine combines tropical fruit, elegant oak notes, and refreshing acidity. This Chardonnay has been fully organically certified since 2018 and has won several gold medals at international competitions. A wine with flair, excitement, and class.

Vineyards and region

The grapes come from the Tabla del Viento and Las Largas plots on Finca El Renegado, located at an altitude of 600 meters in Caudete de las Fuentes. The chalky and loamy soils, combined with hot days and cool nights, create a ripe style while retaining freshness. All vineyards are organically managed.

Vinification and maturation

After a short cold maceration, the juice undergoes slow fermentation in new French oak barriques. The wine then remains in barrel for several months for added depth and complexity. Bottling is done without filtration to maximize the character and aromatic intensity.

Planted on limestone and clay soils at an altitude of 600 meters, the grapes yield ripe tropical fruit, vibrant acidity, and structure that pair perfectly with oak aging.

Tasting notes and serving suggestions

Pale golden yellow with a bright sheen. The aroma reveals tropical fruits like pineapple and mango, ripe pear, citrus, and subtle notes of vanilla and toast. The palate is rich, fresh, and slightly creamy with a long, elegant finish.

Pairs well with: lobster, salmon, creamy chicken dishes and soft cheeses
Alcohol percentage: 12.5%
