The big name behind Arithmetics wines is Austwine, a winery led by Chris Nye. Founded in 1993, this winery produces wines for small cooperatives, among other things. Their extensive knowledge of Australian viticulture is evident in this red One Bottle of Shiraz. The group of winegrowers who joined forces now produce this superb red wine from the Shiraz grape. The vineyards are spread throughout the Riverland, the Murray River Valley. After all, this is where the best wines originate! The name Arithmetics is printed on the label because figuring out how to make this wine is a real puzzle every year. But it's all worth the wait, because that's precisely why they named this red wine "One Bottle of Shiraz."

Wood aging for the One Bottle of Shiraz

The grapes enjoy the perfect climate in the vineyards. The sun ripens the grapes, and the fresh breeze that always blows through the vineyards provides the perfect coolness for the harvest. This blend guarantees a top harvest and is harvested in the morning. After pressing, this One Bottle of Shiraz is aged for several months in oak barrels. During this period, it develops strength and suppleness, which is truly fantastic.

Full and very powerful this One Bottle of Shiraz Arithmetics

As soon as we pour this red wine, our senses are awakened, a beautiful deep red color with a purple rim. It smells like a full-bodied Shiraz, with abundant blueberries, spices, and notes of chocolate and black pepper. On the palate, it gives us a very warm feeling, with a ripe attack of black fruit accompanied by hints of vanilla and cedar. Swirl this red wine around your mouth for a moment, and we also taste hints of cherries and, of course, a touch of cocoa.
