The origins of Orin Swift Winery go back to 1995, when Davy Phinney went to study in beautiful Florence. He learned about winemaking and became fascinated. After graduating, he started working as a harvest worker at a local winery. He decided to work hard and eventually start his own business. In 1998, he founded Orin Swift Cellars. Orin is his father's middle name, and Swift is his mother's maiden name. As a tribute, he combined the two names. Step by step, he grew the brand into what it is today: a global leader in American wines!

The beautiful bunches are harvested by hand into small crates, after which they are aged in wood. New and two used barrels are used, allowing the winemaker to better manage the process. After eight months of aging, this red Abstract wine has developed impressions in the aroma of ripe red fruit such as raspberries, ripe cherries, and strawberries. It also has a hint of blueberry and spice. The palate is round and very powerful, with ripe black fruit flavors and other full-bodied flavors of charred meat, rhubarb, thyme, vanilla, and plums.
