Palermo Cabernet Sauvignon from Orin Swift, contrary to what the name suggests, is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc. This delicious, full-bodied wine was aged for 12 months in French oak, 38 percent of which was new. A delightful wine with aging potential of 10 to 12 years. During these years, the tannins will soften and the flavor will continue to mature. That doesn't mean this beautiful red wine from Orin Swift isn't ready to drink now.

Thanks to the ideal climate, the grapes can ripen perfectly. The grapes are carefully harvested by hand and gently transported to the winery in small crates. After destemming and pressing, they are left to age for months. After strict quality control, the wine is bottled and released onto the market.

The aroma and taste of the Palermo Cabernet Sauvignon

The nose reveals beautiful aromas of blackcurrant, blueberries, and a subtle hint of butterscotch. The palate is overwhelming and explosive in the best sense of the word. Delicious hints of ripe raspberries, black cherries, caramel, cloves, and licorice. The tannins make this wine a true powerhouse.
