Pasqua Winery has a long history. Today, the third generation is at the helm. The current owners, Ricardo, Alessandro, Cecilia, and Giovanni, are successfully continuing the winemaking tradition! One wine from this third generation is the Romeo & Juliet series. This series is a tribute to Verona, the city of love for many. The fascinating story of Romeo and Juliet draws thousands of tourists to Verona every year to gaze upon Juliet's balcony. The wall beneath this balcony is covered in declarations of love from people around the world. A small section of this wall is featured on the labels of both the red and white wines.
Soft, soft and soft again this red Pasqua Romeo & Juliet
This delicious red wine from Pasqua, Pasqua Passimento Rosso Romeo & Juliet, is made from Corvina, Croatina, and Merlot. A perfect blend for this top-notch wine! What makes this wine so special, besides the label, is the winemaking method: the Passito Method. After harvest, the grapes are laid out in small crates in the sun to dry. The winemaker allows the grapes to dry to approximately 30%, increasing their sugar content and concentrating their flavors. After vinification, this delicious red wine is aged for three months in oak barrels to enhance its power and suppleness.
