This top-quality wine is made from only the winery's finest Verdejo grapes. The old vineyards, nestled in a soil where wine has been cultivated since the 14th century, produce premium grapes. The vineyard is situated at a very high altitude, 690 meters above sea level. This allows the Verdejo grapes to enjoy abundant sunlight and cooling winds and nighttime temperatures. The climate in the Rueda is perfect, producing a pure and smooth wine. All bunches are hand-harvested for this white wine at ideal ripeness. Each bunch is inspected, and only the best are used to make this Peñalosa Verdejo.
This Peñalosa Verdejo embodies all the beautiful characteristics of its Rueda habitat. Upon opening, we smell ripe fruit such as apple, pear, and exotic fruits. In the glass, it has a light yellow color with a green hue.
