Château de Pinet - Gaujal de Saint Bon, a historic wine estate with deep roots, is now managed with passion and precision by Simone Gaujal and her daughter. Together they oversee 45 hectares of vineyards planted with authentic local grapes such as Picpoul, Roussanne, and Syrah.
The Cuvée des Dames is a tribute to their dedication. Inert gas is used during vinification to preserve the wine's vibrant, fruity character, and a cool fermentation enhances this fresh profile. After fermentation, the wine is briefly aged on the fine lees, which contributes to its complexity and depth.
This dry white wine reveals a bouquet of lemon, melon, and pear, complemented by a touch of exotic flair and a mineral undertone. Thanks to its proximity to the Mediterranean, the wine has juicy acidity, a salty nuance, and a wealth of exotic fruit. It's no surprise, then, that Picpoul de Pinet is often referred to as the "Chablis of the South."
The Cuvée des Dames is a mouthwatering wine that evokes images of sunny summer days. It's the perfect accompaniment to a pan of mussels or simply enjoyed solo, letting its refreshing charm carry you away.
