Pieropan wines for four generations

The Pieropan family business was founded in 1880 in the heart of the town of Soave. Four generations have run this Italian winery, each in their own unique way. But all with great passion and dedication. By consistently focusing on quality and meticulous work, the winery has become a benchmark for the international wine world. Nino and Teresita Pieropan run the business with the passion and expertise of true winemakers who love their craft. They are widely considered representatives of the Soave area, one of the most renowned wine regions in Italy. The soil for the vines is of volcanic origin and clay-basaltic in nature. Over the years, the winery has acquired valuable sites in the hilly region, including Calvarino and La Rocca, which, developed as individual sites, annually receive the highest international awards. The Garganega and Trebbiano di Soave grapes for this Classico wine are sourced from the hills in the heart of the Soave Classico region. The grapes are harvested exclusively by hand to ensure only the perfectly ripe grapes are picked. They are then gently pressed in the winery. After a short settling period of two days, the juice is transferred to stainless steel tanks where slow fermentation takes place. The young wine is given time to fully develop. After another two months of bottle rest, the wine is ready to be served.

It's a typical spring wine with a straw-yellow color in the glass. The nose is delicate, with aromas of almond and marzipan. The palate offers ripe and complex fruit notes that are beautifully balanced by the refreshing acidity. This also lends a touch of length to the finish.
