Organic sparkling wines from Pizzalato
Pizzolato is a family-run winery in northern Italy. The first generations were primarily involved in agriculture, but since the 1980s, Pizzolato has focused entirely on sparkling wine production. And with success. All their wines are certified organic. They undoubtedly make the finest prosecco wines. They own approximately 58 hectares of vineyards in the northern part of Treviso, Veneto. The fine bubbles they produce offer great elegance, balance, and above all, pleasure. The iconic champagne cork that accompanies each variety adds a special touch of festivity. It's a reflection of their passion for winemaking and the traditions they've passed down from generation to generation.
The Glera grapes are harvested at peak ripeness and then brought to the winery. A rigorous selection process follows, leaving only the finest grapes. The grapes are gently pressed and then undergo traditional vinification. The wine ferments at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks for approximately 30 days. The wine is then allowed to rest for a period of time before being bottled.
