The Italian winery Ponte is located in the Veneto region. Founded in 1960 by the Ponte family, it has been committed to producing quality wines from day one. Thanks to the estate's excellent vineyards, they are able to produce unique wines, each with its own distinctive character and flavor. The vineyards are located along the foothills of the Piave River. The soil is primarily sandy and extremely fertile. A sea breeze regularly blows through the vineyards, providing much-needed cooling. The Pinot Grigio grapes are harvested entirely by hand when they reach peak ripeness and brought to the cellar. Here, the grapes undergo a light maceration on the skins, after which they are gently pressed. The juice is transferred to stainless steel tanks for alcoholic fermentation. The wine is then transferred to more stainless steel tanks for extended aging, allowing the flavors and aromas to further develop.
