A blend of the Feteasca Neagra and Syrah grapes. Feteasca Neagra is a very old grape grown only in Romania and Moldova. It produces a very fruity wine with a smooth character. Pairing two red grape varieties isn't always easy. But luckily, this proved to be a dream pairing. They give the wine character, structure, and a broad aroma.

6 months of wood aging for Radacini Fiori Feteasca Neagra Syrah

The Radacini winery is located in the perhaps still relatively unknown wine country of Moldova. They have 1,000 hectares of vineyards spread across three estates. The winery benefits from its long winemaking history, which began in Roman times. During this time, many new grape varieties were introduced. At this winery, attention to detail is paramount; nothing is left to chance. They utilize the latest technologies, resulting in a unique style. Thanks to their distinctive style and the dedication they demonstrate day in and day out, their wines have received dozens of awards. This reflects their quality and dedication. The grapes are grown in the Stefan Voda region, one of the areas where Radacini has vineyards. It's a warm region, with the Black Sea playing a significant role. Primarily red grape varieties are planted here. The grapes are carefully harvested at optimal ripeness and vinified separately. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature, and both wines are aged for six months in French oak barrels. Finally, the wines are blended and bottled.

What does the Radacini Fiori Feteasca Neagra Syrah taste like?

This wine gleams deep red in the glass. The two grape varieties prove to be a beautiful combination. The interplay creates aromas of plums, cherries, and blackcurrants. This is complemented by notes of coffee and vanilla, thanks to the oak aging. The palate is soft and rounded, accessible with mild tannins. It's an accessible wine that pairs perfectly with lamb, turkey, or barbecue dishes.
