The grapes in the Codru region reached optimal ripeness thanks to a favourable climate. This ensured even ripening and gave the wine an elegant structure.

Combining two red grape varieties remains a challenge. But it's become clear that Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot pair exceptionally well. They complement each other uniquely, resulting in a wine that is both fruity and rich.

Radacine and its unique wines

Moldova has all the ingredients for a perfect wine country: nutrient-rich soil, a perfect climate, the nearby Black Sea providing the perfect cooling, and centuries of experience thanks to the Romans. Radacini also knows how to utilize these excellent qualities of the country. They own over 1,000 hectares of vineyards in three different regions. Using the latest technologies, they produce unique wines with a personal character. Nothing is left to chance, and the winemakers have an eye for detail. Thanks to their distinctive style and the dedication they provide day in and day out, the wines have already won dozens of awards. It is a reflection of their quality and effort. The grapes are grown in the Codru region, where the vines are deeply rooted in the nutrient-rich soil. Once the grapes reach peak ripeness, they are harvested entirely by hand. The climate ensures even ripening and gives the grapes their elegant structure. The grapes are vinified separately and undergo temperature-controlled fermentation. Nothing is left to chance, and every process is closely monitored. After the necessary rest, the wines are blended and bottled.

A complex and elegant Radacini Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot

With a ruby red color, the Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot emerges in the glass. The nose is complex yet elegant. A beautiful combination of what these two grapes bring out in each other. Aromas of cherry and blackberry are clearly present, along with subtle notes of spice and a touch of chocolate. The palate is versatile and rich. A smooth wine with a distinct character. The soft tannins lead you to a long finish.
