Recioto della Valpolicella Classico comes from the classic Valpolicella region, sourced from vineyards in the hills surrounding the villages of Negrar, Fumane, and Valgatara. A delicate, highly refined red dessert wine, it boasts a subtle balance of sugar and acidity, making it pleasantly sweet yet not heavy. The wine has a rich aroma of cherry jam and a sweet taste, balanced by the acidity. An exquisite dessert wine for special occasions.

The old family business Lenotti

In northeastern Italy, on the shores of Lake Garda near the town of Bardolino, lies the Lenotti winery. Its origins date back to 1906. Even at the beginning of the last century, they had an excellent regional reputation for their local wines. Initially, they focused on the production and sale of barrel-aged wine. Later, they transitioned to producing quality wines exclusively bottled. Today, they remain a true family business. After investments and several renovations, the family began to fully focus on the entire process, from grapes to a beautiful finished product. The Lenotti family owns a large number of vineyards in the following regions: 'Le Folaghe' in Lugana, 'Le Crosare' in Valpolicella Classico, and 'La Pra' and 'Vigna la Giare' in Bardolino Classico.

The production of dessert wine Recioto della Valpolicella Classico Lenotti

Only during the very best years are the grapes for this Recioto della Valpolicella Classico harvested. This dessert wine is a blend of grapes consisting of 50 percent Corvina, 40 percent Rondinella, and 10 percent Molinara. These grapes form the basis of this refined wine, and each grape variety leaves its mark. After harvest, the grapes are gently pressed, and fermentation can last several months at a controlled temperature of around 22 degrees Celsius, until the correct balance of sugar and alcohol is achieved. The wine is then stored in thermo-conditioned stainless steel tanks before being bottled.
