This refined Pinot Noir from Regnard has a beautiful light red color. The aroma is very refined, with hints of red fruit, spice, and blossom. The taste is a true sensation; drink it at 15 to 16 degrees Celsius for best results. Beautiful depth and plenty of length, with notes of blackberry, cherry, raspberry, spice, and blossom. An absolute top choice in our selection.
The oldest winery in Burgundy
Maison Régnard is one of the oldest and most prestigious wineries in all of French Burgundy. Founded in the second half of the nineteenth century, in 1860 to be precise, the estate was born thanks to Zéphir Régnard. The estate is currently considered one of the most important Burgundian wineries, with several plots of vines in the Mâconnais region, or the southernmost part of Burgundy. No other estate in Chablis boasts such a large collection of Grands Crus and Premiers Crus. Régnard's cellars are home to all seven Grands Crus and five top Premiers Crus of Chablis.
Celebrated as one of the finest wines in the universe, red wine from Burgundy, also known as red Burgundy, is Pinot Noir. In fact, Burgundy is the birthplace of Pinot Noir and the source of the most sensual, delicate, valuable, and sought-after Pinot Noir wines in the world. And we certainly taste that in this French red wine!
The vinification of Regnard Bourgogne Pinot Noir
This Burgundy is made entirely of Pinot Noir grapes, harvested by hand. After harvest, the grapes are carefully selected and inspected in the Regnard cellar. The Burgundy Pinot Noir undergoes alcoholic and then malolactic fermentation in stainless steel vats. It is then clarified and lightly filtered before bottling. And then it's time to enjoy. This slightly fruity red wine pairs beautifully with poultry, salmon, and various cheeses.
