Thanks to their years of experience and passion, they know how to extract the best from the vineyards and the grapes and bring them to market in a beautiful bottle. This approachable Chablis Saint Pierre is no exception. This is a white wine with a unique character. The Chardonnay beautifully shines through with its characteristic fruity notes.

The oldest winery in Burgundy

Maison Régnard, one of the oldest and most prestigious houses in Burgundy, was founded in 1860 by Monsieur Régnard. In 1984, Baron Patrick de Ladoucette took over the estate and continued to perpetuate and improve the style and distinctive character of the wines. With respect for tradition, Maison Régnard produces the 7 Grands Crus of Chablis (Les Clos, Bougros, Blanchots, Grenouilles, Preuses, Valmur, and Vaudésir), the 5 most important Premiers Crus (Fourchaume, Montmains, Vaillons, Montée de Tonnerre, and Mont de Midden), Chablis, and Petit Chablis. In 1992, Baron Patrick de Ladoucette created Grand Régnard, a special cuvée presented in a single bottle, a selection from the house's finest Chablis plots. This cuvée expresses the youth and fruit of Chablis each year. The grapes for this Saint Pierre are harvested by hand at peak ripeness. Upon arrival at the cellar, they undergo careful selection. According to the winemaker, this is perhaps the most important step, as selecting the best grapes allows for the development of the finest juice. Only then can the wine bear the Regnard label. It is aged for several months in French oak to develop its unique character.

An accessible and fruity Chardonnay

This Chablis Saint Pierre emanates a greenish-yellow color in the glass, and we were immediately struck by its delightful aroma. A beautiful, sweet, ripe nose, slightly oily, with notes of grapes, tropical fruit, and grapefruit. The palate offers a smooth, mouth-filling finish with a supple acidity, making it accessible and very seductive. This Chablis is delightful, revealing the refined character of the Chardonnay with purity and clarity. Sourced from Chablis's finest vineyards, it is accessible and boasts generous fruit and supple acidity.
