Maison Régnard, founded in 1840, is one of the oldest wineries in Chablis and one of the few that still has a cellar in the center of Chablis. Quality is paramount at this French winery. It was taken over in 1984 by Baron Patrick Ladoucette, who took charge of the winery and continued to maintain and improve the style and distinctive character of the wines. To this day, this winery continues to produce exceptionally fine wines.

Today, Mâconnais primarily produces white wine made from Chardonnay grapes and is best known as the home of Pouilly-Fuissé. This white variety originated in Burgundy but is now grown worldwide. What does Regnard Macon Lugny taste like?

This Macon Lugny is made entirely from Chardonnay grapes. Depending on the location, the grapes are harvested either mechanically or by hand. After primary fermentation, the wine also undergoes malolactic or secondary fermentation, after which it is clarified. The wine can be aged for 2-3 years, but is also suitable for drinking young.
