Lambrusco: the pride of Emilia Romagna
Chiarli 1860, not surprisingly, has been making Lambrusco since 1860. For over a century and a half, they have amassed the expertise to amaze both friends and foes. Our visit to this winery begins in the Emilia Romagna region, the birthplace of Lambrusco. From there, we travel to the western city of Modena. Indeed, world-famous for its balsamic vinegar. However, this traditionally university city has much more to offer: Lambrusco. This grape is widely planted around this medium-sized city. For years, they have been producing a slightly sweet sparkling wine here. This has put not only Modena, but all of Emilia Romagna, on the map.What does Rose di Bacco Lambrusco Amabile Red taste like?
