Rotari Cuvee 28 Brut Rosé

This rosé Italian sparkling wine is incredibly festive. This elegant rosé is made with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, two international grape varieties well-adapted to the Trentino region, in the heart of the Dolomites. Thanks to the wide variability of microclimates and microterritories, Pinot Noir in Trentino can express its rich aromatics and elegant structure even on very poor soils between 400 and 550 meters above sea level.

A perfect marriage between Pinot Noir and Chardonnay

The bright sunshine in this region ensures perfect ripening and the accumulation of red fruit aromas. At the same time, the high temperatures preserve the skin's acidity and a robust structure that doesn't release polyphenolic material during use – ultimately enhancing the smoothness and elegance of the palate. The Chardonnay vineyards are located along the beautiful Adige Valley at altitudes ranging from 400 to 500 meters above sea level. This creates high temperatures that promote the synthesis and accumulation of aromas and maintain a pleasant acidity. The grapes are hand-selected and harvested and taken directly to the cellars. To preserve the rich aroma of red fruit, the wine is vinified exclusively in steel with selected yeasts and without any oak aging. The wines are aged in steel until February and then processed according to the Champagne method, with aging on the lees in the bottle for at least 24 months. Only the Chardonnay base wines undergo malolactic fermentation to smooth the Pinot Noir's acidity and enhance its roundness.

The Brut Rosé has a beautiful soft pink color in the glass. It immediately releases a very elegant aroma, primarily with red fruit like blackberries, cherries, and raspberries. White fruit and pineapple also emerge, along with very light yeasty notes. The palate is fresh and intense, with hints of yeast and spice. A beauty!
