Vermentino di Gallura wine originates near Monte Limbara. In this area of northern Sardinia, Sa Raja manages an estate nestled in a beautiful hilly landscape. The vineyards are situated at an altitude of approximately 500 meters above sea level. The soils are particularly suitable for white grapes and consist primarily of granite. This, combined with the Mediterranean climate, cooled by the Mistral, creates the ideal habitat for Vermentino. The very best bunches are sorted and harvested by hand in the vineyard itself. In the winery, the grapes are gently pressed, and the must is fermented in stainless steel tanks. Before bottling, the wine rests on its lees in steel tanks for at least six months.
