The rich history of Sachetto
The Sacchetto company was founded in the early 1900s in the Veneto region, where wine was an integral part of the history, culture, and economy. Its founder was Sisto Sacchetto, who established the wine and wine trade in the early post-war period. It grew into a successful business thanks to Sisto's idea to add value to the family business by directly producing the grapes for his wines. His son, Filiberte, and his sons are currently at the helm. Together, they lead this modern, innovative company, thanks to their skill in reading the international market.
The wines are produced with great dedication and passion. Only the finest grapes are good enough to make it into the bottle. Maceration for this Cabernet Sauvignon lasts between fifteen and twenty days, followed by slow fermentation on pure must in tank. The wine is aged in wooden barrels for twelve months. After bottling, the wine continues to age in the cellars. Stored in good conditions, the wine can be kept for several years.
The best Cabernet Sauvignon from Sacchetto Il Satiro
This Sacchetto wine is dark red in color. The aroma is intense and warm, reminiscent of overripe fruit with a soft vanilla note. Il Satiro is smooth on the palate with notes of cloves, a hint of garlic, and licorice. The finish is rich, full, and long-lasting. Delicious with pâté, red meat, and game dishes.
