The Central Valley boasts optimal natural climate and soil conditions, ensuring perfect fertility for high-quality wine production, as reflected in this Carmenere, among other wines.
Accessible wines from Santa Helena
Santa Helena was founded in 1942 with exports in mind. And with exports now to over 50 countries across five continents, this goal has been quite successful. The wines are typically Chilean and all easy to drink. Over 75 years of tradition have earned many generations loyal to the brand for its excellent value. The Varietal series is a range of well-balanced, young wines that are remarkably expressive with notes of fresh fruit. They are tasty, easy to drink, and feature a wide variety of both white and red varietals.
Santa Helena wines are produced by a superb team of winemakers dedicated to unlocking the qualitative potential of each vineyard. The grapes for this Carmenere are harvested mechanically. This is followed by rigorous selection and quality control. Only the very best grapes are chosen for the juice. Fermentation takes place on additional yeast strains. Before the alcoholic fermentation is complete, the skins are removed to allow the final fermentation without the skins, resulting in a smoother wine.
