Out of pure love, Senorio de Iniesta was founded in 1944 by 34 winegrowers from the Tierra de Castilla wine region. The winery has since become world-renowned for its 100% organic wines. With 1200 affiliated winegrowers, it is one of Spain's largest producers of organic wines. By utilizing modern winemaking techniques and time-honored traditions, the wines are pure and rich in depth. With the motto "Tradition and Vanguard," the winery continually seeks to combine ancient traditions with modern winemaking techniques. And they succeed perfectly, as their wines are beloved worldwide. Today, Senorio de Iniesta boasts 700 hectares of vineyards across the Tierra de Castilla wine region.

The harvest of the Tempranillo vineyard

The vineyards for this red wine are located in the Tierra de Castilla wine region, at an altitude of 750 meters above sea level. This allows the grapes to receive plenty of sunshine and natural coolness from the wind and falling nighttime temperatures. Because the vineyards are situated in the valleys of the Júcar and Gabriel rivers, the grapes gain extra strength. The old soil structure, rich in limestone and gravel, contributes to the ripeness and power of this red wine. At the ideal harvest ripeness, all the grapes are harvested in the morning.

An intense red wine that already exudes a powerful aroma upon opening the bottle. We smell hints of fresh red and black fruit, interspersed with spices and a swarm of currants. In the glass, it transforms into a beautiful bright red with a slight purple sheen. Aromas of forest fruits, with hints of spice and vanilla. On the palate, this red Senorio de Iniesta is exceptionally smooth, with abundant black fruit and nuances of wild blackberries, cherries, and strawberries.
