A completely organic rosé from the impressive Si winery. Si wines are produced by a cooperative, a partnership of several winegrowers. This cooperative was founded in 1944 and has steadily continued to produce formidable wines. The strength of Si wines lies in their organic character. This allows you to enjoy these beautiful Spanish wines with peace of mind.
An organic rosé wine from Spain
Si is located in the picturesque village of Iniesta, approximately 135 kilometers east of Valencia. It is situated in Europe's largest wine region: La Mancha. In the past, this wine region didn't have a particularly good reputation. However, the tide has turned, and La Mancha now produces excellent quality wines.
Since Si's founding, the vineyard area has grown enormously. They currently own over 7,000 hectares of vineyards—an incredible amount. At approximately 700 meters, the vineyards are situated relatively high compared to other wineries. This only benefits the quality of the grapes. This allows Si to produce organic wines without compromising on quality. The finest example of this is perhaps this Si Bobal Rosé.
Impressions of Si Bobal Rose
The Bobal grape is known for its rather robust and dark palate. Because the winemaker at Si only briefly ferments the Bobal grape skins, this Spanish Rosé develops its soft and attractive color. We can safely say that's enough to cheer us up. The aroma offers summery nuances of fresh, fragrant strawberries. The taste is a balanced combination of fruitiness and freshness. This makes this Si Bobal Rosé a must-have on many sunny terraces this summer.
