Here, the old, thick Tempranillo vines of Sierra Salinas grow, producing a superb harvest. The Tempranillo are harvested at night

After a long and balanced growing season, the Tempranillo grapes are harvested at night. The Sierra Salinas winemaker does this to protect the grapes from oxidation and to prevent damage and bruising to the bunches. Upon arrival, the bunches are thoroughly inspected. Only the finest bunches are used in this Sierra Salinas red wine. The juice undergoes a direct and gentle pressing and ages for several months in the Sierra Salinas winery. Only after several months is it ready to drink, and that, we can tell you, is a real treat.
