The gentle Trebbiano d'Abruzzo grape takes center stage in this Talamonti Trebi wine. Commonly found in sun-drenched Italy, it produces fresh wines with a soft character. In this Talamonti Trebi version, it results in a balanced wine where fruity aromas are balanced by pleasant acidity.
Manual harvest for Talamonti Trebi Trebbiano D'Abruzzo
In 2001, it was time for father and daughter Del Tonno to pursue their dream and establish the winery. The 45 hectares of vineyards surround the winery in the Abruzzo countryside. At an altitude of 300 meters above sea level, the grapes thrive in the beautiful terroir of clay and limestone. Even in the winery itself, nothing is left to chance. Modern vinification methods are used, without sacrificing knowledge or tradition.
The grapes are harvested entirely by hand in early September. Only the finest grapes are selected during this harvest. At the winery, the grapes are then destemmed and gently pressed, followed by a cold maceration. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature and lasts an average of 10 days. The wine is then left to rest for several months before being bottled.
Enjoy a fruity Trebbiano D'Abruzzo
This beautiful white wine radiates invitingly in the glass with its pale yellow color. We immediately enjoy an aromatic, fruity aroma of lychee, melon, apple, and peach. This is complemented by a slightly spicy undertone, which is also clearly evident on the palate. This wine is full-bodied and has a delightful finish. It's excellent on its own, but also pairs well with various fish dishes.
