The old Chardonnay vineyard of Talo San Marzano
The San Marzano vineyards are perfect for growing Chardonnay grapes. They are situated just under 100 meters above sea level. This gives them ample sunshine, a consistent temperature, and a cool coastal breeze at night. All of this combined results in magnificent quality. After harvest, the Chardonnay grapes undergo a rigorous selection process. Only the very best grapes are selected for Talo San Marzano Chardonnay. Following this rigorous selection, the grapes are then vinified in French oak barrels. The oak barrels are aged for four months in the San Marzano cellars. This gives the Talo Chardonnay a slightly stronger flavor while maintaining its refreshing character.
