Taylor's Port is one of the oldest port houses in Portugal, having been active in the port industry since 1692. Englishman and merchant Job Bearsley founded the port house with one goal: to produce the finest available. He more than succeeded, and today it remains a family business where quality is paramount. Taylor's boasts the finest and oldest vineyards along the Douro River and continues to produce top-quality ports. Taylor's large cellar houses an enormous number of wooden barrels, some of which are up to 60 years old, reserved for only the finest quality. This 10-Year-Old Port is also a blend of different vintages, each averaging 10 years. This allows the Taylor's winemaker to produce consistent quality year after year, but it's no easy feat, requiring pure craftsmanship.
