The 'driving winemaker', Telmo Rodriguez, rarely sits still. This unique winemaker is constantly on the go and loves to travel throughout Spain in search of beautiful places to develop his wines. He couldn't pass by the Valldeorras region without discovering its potential. The Godello grape is increasingly being planted in this region. He thought it the ideal spot for his white Gaba do Xil Branco wine. Not an easy vineyard, but nothing is impossible. Despite a low production, Telmo still manages to produce a high-quality wine. The basis is always the fruit itself. That is Telmo's focus, and perhaps that explains his success. The Godello grapes are harvested entirely by hand, with the initial selection taking place in the vineyards themselves. They are then carefully transported to the winery. Here, the wine undergoes alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The yeasts used are indigenous. After aging for four months on the lees in stainless steel tanks, the wine is released.
