A red wine from Spain

Principe de Viana was founded in the mid-1980s in Navarra, northern Spain. Since then, it has acquired many other exceptional vineyards in some of the most impressive locations. This magnificent example, for example, comes from vineyards in the northern Spanish province of Burgos. The vineyards in this part of Spain are situated much higher than average, at an altitude of up to 1,000 meters. This is beneficial for the grapes: there is a significant difference in skin temperature between day and night, which supports the grapes' growth process.
