Party time! It certainly will be with Tommasi Le Fornaci Lugana Riserva. We love Lugana wines and can't wait to share our enthusiasm. Brace yourself for mineral notes, overripe yellow fruit, and a hint of vanilla. The expert taster will detect walnuts and a hint of honey. A wonderfully complex glass of white wine that wine lovers will thoroughly enjoy.
Italian wines from Tommasi
Tommasi is a family business through and through. Currently, the third generation is at the helm of this northern Italian company. Grandfather Giacomo Tommasi founded the company in the heart of Valpolicella, in central Veneto. The estate encompasses a total of 205 hectares of vineyards located in some of Italy's finest vineyards. Tommasi also has beautiful vineyards south of Lake Garda, in the Lombardy region. It is here that the luxurious Lugana is produced.
Lugana wine from Italy
Our oenologists are actually cheating. Lugana wine is one of their favorites. You can always wake our oenologists up in the middle of the night for a delicious glass of Lugana. Definitely a Riserva variant of the illustrious Tommasi. Lugana was once discovered by Ca dei Frati, but the wine is now produced by many other wineries. It's the Trebbiano grape that's responsible for its success. A somewhat dull grape in itself, but grown in the 'Le Fornaci' vineyards, it's a true paradise.

Harvesting is done entirely by hand, ensuring the full bunches are carefully selected. After gentle pressing and vinification, the juice matures for a total of 18 months. A quarter of this is aged in oak. This gives Tommasi Le Fornaci Lugana Riserva a wonderfully elegant character; robust yet retaining the necessary freshness.
