A refined and high-quality Italian Rosé from the Tormaresca winery. The name Furia evokes the energy and beauty that flows through the glass. The vines are planted in one of Salento's most beautiful areas, where the vines enjoy an excellent climate.
Manual harvest for Tormaresca Furia di Calafuria Rose
A passion for wine led the Antinori family to invest in Puglia's potential in 1998. The winery comprises two estates located in the region's most ideal wine-growing areas: Tenuta Bocca di Lupo and Masseria Maime in Salento. The family has consciously chosen to rediscover and revitalize old vines, resulting in wines of great elegance. The vineyards enjoy a hot and exceptionally dry climate. Winters are mild with little rainfall. With the nearby sea, a cooling breeze occasionally blows through the vineyards. These conditions have ensured optimal ripening of the grapes, which can be harvested towards the end of August.
The Furia di Calafuria Rosé is a blend of Negroamaro, Cabernet Franc, and Syrah grapes. The grape varieties are vinified separately. Harvesting is carried out entirely by hand, followed by manual destemming and pressing in the winery. The must is then transferred to stainless steel tanks where alcoholic fermentation takes place. This process takes place at a temperature of 16 degrees Celsius to preserve and enhance the flavors. After aging on the lees in stainless steel for several months, the blend is blended and bottled.

The Furia Rose emerges in the glass with a peachy pink color. The aroma is enticing, with a bouquet of pineapple, grapefruit, and apricots. Delightfully fresh and sweet, floral notes of jasmine also enliven the nose. The palate is delightfully fresh with balanced notes, which lingers in a long, citrusy finish.
