Torrevento is a prestigious winery located in the Apulia region of southern Italy. The Bombino and Chardonnay grapes are hand-harvested in September. After harvesting, the grapes are gently pressed under controlled temperatures. The wine is then fully aged in steel tanks for six months, followed by another six months in oak barrels. Finally, the wine is bottled and aged for a further period in the bottle before it is ready to drink. This process of aging in steel and oak barrels contributes to the wine's complexity and depth.
Torrevento Bacca Rara Bombino Chardonnay has a beautiful straw-yellow color with golden highlights. Its refined bouquet evokes the scent of wildflowers and also has hints of exotic fruit. Upon tasting, you're greeted by a velvety, rounded texture, followed by notes of exotic fruit. The wine has a great body, making it an excellent after-dinner drink.
