The beginning of Toso winery
Although Toso is centuries old, it's anything but an old company. Innovation is paramount, and the winery is constantly improving and modernizing. The Toso winery was founded in 1910 in the Asti region, where the Barbera grape was primarily grown. More than a century has passed since the predecessor of Bodega Toso's current owner, Vincenzo, moved the company from the Asti region in Piedmont to Santo Stefano in Belbo. This move made way for the cultivation of Muscat d'Asti, the small Muscat that predominates in the Piedmontese hills. Today, the Toso winery is run by two brothers, Pietro and Gianfranco, and their cousin Massimo. They dedicate themselves day in and day out to producing wines of exceptional quality with exceptional passion and dedication.
The entire vinification process is closely monitored. Harvesting is carried out entirely by hand to ensure that only the very best grapes are used. This is followed by gentle pressing, after which the juice is fermented at a controlled temperature. The final wine is then aged for a period of time before being bottled and marketed.
Enjoy a dry and pure Prosecco Extra Dry
The bright straw-yellow color of Toso Prosecco Extra Dry bubbles in the glass, exuding a pleasant and fragrant aroma. The aromas of white fruit and flowers linger long afterward. The palate is dry and clean with a pleasant mousse. All in all, wonderfully light and dry, fresh and pure. It pairs beautifully with finger food, seafood, fish, and various vegetables.
