Varietal(s) Gewurztraminer

Only in Alsace does this variety reach perfection. Although this grape is being discovered in more and more places around the world, it thrives best in Alsace. Near Ribeauville, Trimbach's home base, the terroir offers ideal conditions for producing this grape of the highest possible quality. Many are convinced that this is a top-notch wine. It's no wonder this white wine from Trimbach received an impressive 8.5 in the most recent edition of the prestigious Hamersma.

The smell and taste of the Trimbach Gewurztraminer

This wine has everything it needs to be perfect. A certain fullness and fruitiness, yet also bone-dry and incredibly pure. One sniff in the glass and you're hooked. So aromatic, deliciously and seductively perfumed. Ripe, tropical fruits and a distinct spiciness tantalize the senses. Ripe pineapple, orange, and a distinct nose of lychee. Wow. Try this Trimbach Gewürztraminer with more spicy food. The spicy and spiciness of this white wine form a harmonious whole on the palate.

The harvest of the Trimbach Gewurztraminer

Maison Trimbach's winemaking history dates back to 1626. Since then, twelve generations of winemakers have tirelessly pursued their passion for Alsatian wines, ensuring that the wines they produce stand out for their quality and authenticity. The Gewurztraminer grapes come from the Trimbach family's own vineyards and from growers with whom the family has long-standing relationships. Gewurztraminer is one of Trimbach's most unique wines. After harvest, the grapes are rigorously selected and sorted in the vineyards. The wine is then fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel and concrete vats. There is no secondary malolactic fermentation to preserve as much natural acidity as possible. The Trimbach Gewurztraminer is released after two years of cellar aging, when it has achieved the perfect balance of fruit and acidity.
