Trimbach is a winery founded in 1626 and located in the medieval town of Ribeauvillé. The Trimbach family, which has been at the helm for 13 generations, currently owns over 15,000 hectares of vineyards, 1,600 of which are classified as Grand Cru. They produce fruity yet structured, elegant, balanced, and long-lived wines. The Trimbach Pinot Gris Réserve Personnelle vineyard boasts rich clay and mineral soils with significant limestone deposits. Harvesting is carried out manually to ensure the grapes are handled with the utmost care and arrive at the winery undamaged. In the winery, the Trimbach Pinot Gris Réserve Personnelle vintage is gently pressed, and the must is cold-racked using gravity to remove and clarify any impurities or sediments. It then ferments at around 20 degrees Celsius to preserve and extract the varietal's fresh, fruity aromas. It is then bottled without malolactic fermentation, preserving the grapes' natural fresh acidity and fruity character, as well as their full aging potential.
