Bring summer home with this delicious Veuve du Vernay Ice Rosé! With this wonderful sparkling wine from Veuve du Vernay, we can make any day a beautiful one. To make this beautiful day complete, we need a few things. Starting with a large wine glass, segments of red fruit, a fresh mint leaf, and ice cubes. And no, this isn't a complicated cocktail with all sorts of gimmicks. The trend for sparkling wine on ice was started by the prestigious Champagne house Moët & Chandon. However, winemaker Jean-Jaques Hochet has added his own twist, and not entirely without success! We're fans! This delicious sparkling wine is made with Cinsault, Grenache Noir, and Syrah. Three grapes possess the perfect qualities for producing a fine rosé. These grapes are grown in Beaune, Burgundy. The glorious sunshine and the fresh mountain breeze allow these grapes to ripen perfectly in peace and quiet. Once the grapes have reached their full ripeness, they are harvested by hand, and a still rosé is made from each grape variety. Jean-Jaques Hochet then creates the final blend. This blend, along with sugar and yeast, is stored in the cellars to achieve the perfect sparkling quality. Because this Veuve du Vernay Ice Rosé is slightly sweet, more sugar is added to the wine than would be added to a Brut.

This Veuve du Vernay Ice Rose is best enjoyed with an ice cube.

This gem is ready, and what a result! For the ultimate experience, we first take the large wine glass and fill it with ice cubes. Then we add the red fruit and a fresh mint leaf. Finally, we pour this delicious rosé over it. In the aroma, we detected pleasant notes of raspberry, strawberry, and grapefruit. The taste is refreshing despite its slight sweetness. The delicious red fruit nuances dance in the glass, beautifully interplaying with the red fruit segments. The finish is endlessly long and very pleasant.
