This Vida Organica Malbec from the Zuccardi family's organic line is made from 100 percent Malbec grapes. Thanks to their immense dedication, they've released a remarkable number of beautiful wines in recent years. They excel at capturing the characteristics of the Argentine soil in every bottle. The beginning of the Zuccardi winery

The Zuccardi family has lived in Argentina since the late 19th century, their ancestors having emigrated from Italy. In the 1950s, the family established a company specializing in irrigation systems—without water from the nearby Andes, nothing would grow in Mendoza's continental desert climate. In 1963, the first vineyard was purchased to demonstrate the system's effectiveness. The acreage has since grown to an impressive 600 hectares. Since 1998, the family has been working on converting to organic farming, and currently farms approximately 300 hectares. The Malbec grape originates from France, but we're seeing this variety growing in more and more places. For example, Malbec also thrives in the Argentine climate. It's somewhat riper than its French counterpart, giving the wine a distinct character. The utmost care is taken in the winemaking process. The grapes are not only harvested by hand but also transported to the winery in small boxes to protect them from damage. In the ultra-modern winery, low temperatures during fermentation and storage are paramount.

The aroma and taste of Vida Organica Malbec

The result is a dark red wine with a complex nose, revealing notes of ripe fruit, figs, plums, jam, and raisins. Sweet tannins reappear on the palate, and the acidity is well-balanced. A lingering and complex finish concludes.
